Hello everyone! I sure have been away for a long time both here and on my personal blog. There's been a bit going on here at CCTT. Linda has been out for a little while, this NC heat/humidity has hit her asthma hard. So Melissa, Karen and I are trying our best to hold down the fort but even the three of us together can't fill her shoes. She started this business over twenty years ago so when she's not here it isn't quite the same. So please keep her in your thought and prayers. On a happier note, on Saturday I had the pleasure to meet a fellow bloggerOld Glory Soldiers . She and her family recently moved here and will be calling Fayetteville home for a while. And on Monday our first customer through the door was Sue from Rabbit Hollow Prims. What a small world, she lives in Hope Mills which is quite close to me. What wonderful ladies! I had very nice chats with both{I apologize if I talked your ears off} it's always exciting to meet fellow bloggers. I attempted to post a few pictures but for some reason blogger won't let me. No matter how many times I try it just simply refuses. I'll try posting them from home, maybe I'll have better luck. Whew, are you exhausted after that one? Till next time, Kimberly: )
Melissa has been busy today creating prim arrangements so I thought I'd share those with you. My favorite is this one in the old tin. It sold before I could get this picture posted but I still wanted to share it with you. She has already made a couple more so I'll post those another time. I love this small quilt square and the star hanger. Linda picked up five of these small cups while out antiquing last Friday. Not sure yet where I'll put them but I think I need a couple of these. And this is a picture of a combination of two things on my ever growing favorites list, old wood bowls and rag/yarn balls. So many display possibilities. Till next time, Kimberly: )
Just a quick post today to say I hope everyone is having a great week. It has been a bit hot and muggy here in Fayetteville. We had a special treat here at Country Comes to Town last Saturday. Linda from Behind My Red Door was visiting her good friend Jill in SC and they decided to drive to Fayetteville. I really enjoyed their visit and what a small world to find that Linda has shopped in our store in the past. I look forward to getting together with them as well as other prim friends in November. Till next time, Kimberly: )

A display with a few of our spring & summer flags
We have the largest selection of standard and garden flags, mailwraps and mats in town.
Mercantile Gatherings!!
The spring/summer issue of Mercantile Gatherings arrived in the store this week and as promised this issue is bigger and better. Featuring a great little shop "Splinters and Rags" from right here in NC.
The Lord's Prayer
Old three gallon crock with tallow berries
Our tallow berries were a hit this year, only seven bundles left!

And the stockings were hung!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Country Comes To Town (located inside Carolina Window Fashions)
What started out as a hobby making crafts in 1985 has turned into an overwhelming amount of inventory. We opened as a small consignment craft shop on Hope Mills Rd. We then added curtains and blinds and continued to grow. A family run business, my daughter Melissa and I keep the store front running while my son Mike is busy
with estimates, installation
& the manufacturing of blinds. John, my husband, takes care of the bookkeeping & computers while still trying to keep us all straight. Our 6000 sq.ft. building packed to the hilt with primitive country items keeps Kim & Karen busy with decorating.
